The gallery actively seeks to produce and commission new works, helping artists to realize new, and often experimental projects. In 2005 for the opening of the Rome space, the gallery produced the 35mm film site specific_LAS VEGAS 05 by Olivo Barbieri, which has been presented at the most important film festivals around the world including the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. The gallery also produced Andrea Fraser's video work in the Vatican Museums, which was presented in Rome in the fall of 2005. In 2006 the gallery produced Massimo Vitali's limited edition portfolio, Landscapes with Figures and in 2010 a special edition box, Natural Habitats, both in close collaboration with Steidl.
The focus on new emerging art trends in Europe and around the world is an integral component of the gallery's approach. In February 2006, the gallery showed a selection of emerging and established African artists including Malick Sidibé, Seydou Keita, Rotimi Fani-Kayodé, and J.D. Okhai Ojeikere, all of whose works are currently available at the gallery.
